The traditional picket fence is wooden, however it requires a lot of upkeep and treatments to keep it protected from termites, the weather and water damage. The most cost effective alternative is PVC picket fencing, also referred to as plastic picket fencing or vinyl picket fencing.

Picket fences can also be installed between brick or stone piers, or designed as part of a pergola or gazebo.

Pickets come in lengths of 900mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm and 2100mm.
